Chapel Sing Is In The Books

Recall this photo from Freshman Saturday?

Freshman Saturday

Now, here’s a photo from today…

Chapel Sing 2011

It’s a Rite of Passage, like I say every year.

I talked to about five different Moms about it – right at Chapel Sing – every one of them thought it was simply incredible.

Fall is Here!

And the Maples are changing

Saturday is October 1st…Homecoming…Chapel Sing…football…soccer…cross country…papers due…tests…OK, that’s enough!

The landscape is also telling us we’re in the middle of football season and the short sleeve Wabash polos may be retired for a few months and replaced with that new Under Armour pullover you’ve been eyeing in the Bookstore.  Better get it this week!

Early Chapel Sing Morning

There they were

Had some logistical pre-postioning duties this morning.  “Stuff” for the class agent meetings Saturday morning.  Of course, the Beta pledge class was in fornt of the Chapel – their spots for the Sing secure.

Speaking of logisitcs, check the Chapel entry out.

Backpack, textbooks, iPad, smartphone, notebooks, iPod, jacket, pillow, blanket, Kindle...

Homecoming – Think Floats (But it might be too early)

It’s Wednesday afternoon at the Bash.  Homecoming is 72 hours away.  A stroll down Wabash Ave. wouldn’t even leave a hint of Homecoming.  Why?

The Betas, seen in the photo, are the only ones working on their “float.”  At least they are the only ones in sight!  Who knows, maybe the other three fraternities on the street are doing classified work.  We’ll know soon enough.

The FMT - Float Management Team

The Betas seem well out in front and, according to the FMT housed on the Beta porch, they are the team to beat.
