Tom Dakich

Tom Dakich ’82, a practicing attorney for more than 30 years, was recently featured in a podcast episode of “Business and Beyond” with Inside INdiana Business’ Gerry Dick.

“Business and Beyond” is a weekly conversation with Indiana leaders in business, politics, sports, entertainment and beyond, and explores the successes, failures and memorable moments that have shaped the lives of high profile, high-performing individuals with a Hoosier connection.

“For Tom Dakich, growing up in northwest Indiana was special, and after years of economic challenges, he believes the region is poised for transformation,” Dick wrote, previewing the podcast episode titled Tom Dakich: Running a region resurgence. “In episode 87, Dakich talks about big projects, his passion for the region and what it was like growing up with little brother, Dan.”

Dakich resides in Indianapolis and has worked from offices in London, Sydney, Tampa, Chicago, San Francisco and New York. 

His practice has centered on the development of telecommunications and data centers. According to his LinkedIn, Dakich has closed more than $500 million in transactions, including the sale or merger of companies on every continent (except Antarctica). He has represented and been a part of the legal and development teams that own urban data centers throughout the world.

Dakich graduated from Wabash College and the Indiana University School of Law. While at Wabash, he majored in psychology and was a member of Phi Kappa Psi.
