Jonathan Horne ’05

Murtha Cullina LLP has recently promoted Attorney Jonathan Horne ’05 to Partner. With offices throughout Connecticut, Massachusetts and New York, Murtha Cullina LLP offers a full range of legal services to meet the local, regional and national needs of clients.

Horne is a member of the firm’s Litigation Department and Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights Group, according to a news release. In his bankruptcy and restructuring practice, Horne represents businesses, lenders, creditors, trustees and individuals in all aspects of the bankruptcy and non-bankruptcy restructuring and workout process. In his litigation practice, he represents clients in a wide range of complex business cases, including director and officer liability claims, fraudulent transfer litigation and other complex commercial disputes.

From 2019 to 2021, Horne was been listed as an “Associate to Watch” in the area of Bankruptcy/Restructuring law by Chambers USA. He has also been recognized as a Rising Star by Massachusetts Super Lawyers since 2016. 

Horne received his J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law and his B.A. from Wabash College.

While at Wabash, he majored in economics and minored in psychology. Horne was a member of Phi Delta Theta, Student Senate, Interfraternity Council and played on the baseball team.

Horne’s appointment went into effect on January 1, 2022.
