Jason Hood ’91 has been named Human Resources Director by the city of Champaign, Illinois.
Jason has over ten years of experience in the public and private sector as a Human Resources, Employee Relations and Labor Relations professional. He has served as the Senior Director of Labor and Industrial Relations for the Association of Union Constructors, Human Resources/Americans with Disabilities Act Manager for Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., Human Resources/Equal Employment Opportunity Manager with Tyson Foods and the Human Resources Specialist for the City of Decatur, IL. He has worked for the city of Champaign since 2012 as Community Relations Specialist and then Community Relations Manager/Compliance Officer.
After Wabash, Jason earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Illinois College of Law and an MBA from Millikin University Tabor School of Business.
