Professor Emeritus Phil Mikesell ’63 and his wife, Vina, may have “retired” from Wabash to their home in northern Michigan, but they are as busy in their new community as they were in Crawfordsville. Vina, who was active in the Montgomery County League of Women Voters for many years, is a board member and advocate for the League of Women Voters® of the Grand Traverse Area. Occasionally Phil offers his expertise as a professor of political science, especially during an election year. His latest talk with their local LWV on January 2 was entitled “Election 2012 – Change or More of the Same?”
