Indiana Solicitor General Tom Fisher ’91 will be the keynote speaker at the Health Care Reform Power Breakfast presented by Greater Fort Wayne Business Weekly on August 21 at the Greater Fort Wayne Chamber of Commerce.
“Tom has served as an Indiana Deputy Attorney general since February 2001, and was named Indiana s first Solicitor General in July 2005. He has argued three times before the U.S. Supreme Court and is a two-time recipient of the National Association of Attorneys General Best Brief Award for excellence in U.S. Supreme Court brief writing. He has taught at Indiana University Maurer School of Law.”
Tom’s love of law runs in his family, as he reported in a “39 Under 39” web story in 2008. After Wabash, Tom earned his law degree from Indiana University.”
