From the Evansville Courier & Press: “Russell Harbaugh, a son of UE Theatre professor Patti McCrory, wrote and directed “Rolling on the Floor Laughing,” a 19-minute film shot in 2010 in and around Evansville. Harbaugh’s film, an autobiographically-inspired story about two grown brothers dealing with their widowed mother’s re-entry into the world of dating, was among 64 Sundance short selections, drawn from a record 7,675 submissions from around the world.
Harbaugh is a Wabash College graduate who made his film in graduate school at Columbia University in New York City. [He said in a phone call from Park City, Utah] that he felt honored to see his movie in the Sundance Film Festival, which closed last week. Russ said he looked forward to getting back to New York to resume work on his next project – a full-length feature version of “Rolling on the Floor Laughing.”
And we look forward to seeing the full length version, Russ!
