Q:  What do you do with a lemon such as 5-6 miles of left over fabric from the giant Super Bowl banners in Indianapolis?
A:  You make lemonade, or if you are Michael Bricker ’04 and People for Urban Progress, you repurpose the banners as useful items.

The Indianapolis Star reports this as the largest recovery effort going on now that the Super Bowl is over.  “People for Urban Progress [PUP], the company that recovered the RCA Dome materials, will use the fabric to create bags and possibly shower curtains, said Michael Bricker ’04, chief innovator.  He said he hopes to start selling items in a month.  Check out their website, peopleup.org, in about a month to purchase the recycled banner products.
