Wabash was well represented at the annual Champions of Character Breakfast on May 3, an event which honors individuals nominated from Montgomery County to recognize outstanding character traits.

Among the 22 honored were Wabash recipients Youth Winners, seniors Jake German ’11 and Cody Stipes ’11; Coaches/Athletes, Basketball & Golf Coach Mac Petty and Ryan Nuppnau ’08, teacher/baseball and basketball coach at North Montgomery High School; and Adult Division, Dr. Richard Walker, local dentist and father of John Walker  D.D.S ’91.

Character Counts is an organization which consistently strives to teach, enforce, advocate and model the six pillars of character and to recognize those individuals and groups who do.  Dean of Students Mike Raters is a board member of Character Counts, and Director of Public Affairs Jim Amidon presented the awards.
