Brothers Tom and Terry Hollowell, Wabash Class of 2000, share more than being twins – they were both members of the track team at Wabash and now they share their love of running barefoot! Tom, who lives in Morocco (the country), has co-authored a book about running sans shoes. The Danville, IN Commercial-News talked with him during a recent visit back home in Indiana.
Currently on a “Dare to Bare” American tour to promote the book, Tom started in New York City and was at the Boston Marathon. He will sign his book “A Complete Idiot’s Guide to Barefoot Running” at the Indy 500 Expo 4-8 p.m. EDT Thursday, May 5, and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, May 6, at the Indianapolis Convention Center. He will complete his book tour of the United States with a talk and book-signing 4:30-6 p.m. June 13 at the Danville Public Library. The book is also available at all major in-store and online bookstores.
