That’s Alan Stolz ’53 on the left and Jim Twomey ’54 on the right. Alan and his wife Gail visited Jim and Bivina Twomey not long ago. Jim and his wife run a Bed and Breakfast in Costa Rica – they moved there a couple of years ago from the State of Washington. Talk about climate change!
Jim points out in his email that the banner that Al presented to him hangs proudly in their home.
If you’re headed towards Costa Rica, make sure you let the Twomey’s know you’re coming. Rumor has it that Wabash community members receive a very healthy discount – especially the ones who come bearing gifts!

Presently, the soccer team has a proposed trip to Costa Rica for the summer of ’09 on the desks of Dean Bambrey and Phillips!!
Wouldn’t be awesome if we could go and visit Al and his wife with the soccer team!!
