Today is Veterans Day – it doesn’t get much recognition around here.
Thankfully a lot of Americans do take just a moment to thank veterans for their service to our country. So if you didn’t do it today, think about it when you read this. Serving in our Armed Service almost assuredly means one won’t get rich, gain a lot of recognition, work from 8 to 5, and spend every night at home. It also means one will most likely put their life on the line in combat.

Tom,
As a fellow veteran, I want to thank you for reminding us all about the sacrifices made by the men and women serving in our military. Veterans Day is not about supporting a war but about recognizing sacrifice. Whether it’s the Vietnam of our day, world War II and Korea of the previous generation, or Iraq and Afghanistan today, generations of Wabash men have served and continue to serve, joining that long Civil War list on the wall of Center Hall.
From one vet to another, thank you for your service.
