Francisco Huerta ’14 was honored by Noble Schools at their 25th anniversary gala. He was awarded the Alumnni Legacy Award.
The Alumni Legacy Award is given to a Noble graduate who has made significant achievements in their professional field, has contributed meaningfully to Chicago, and who has worked to advance Noble’s vision.
Francisco is a founding graduate of Rauner College Prep (Class of 2010). He signed on to Teach for America after graduating college and was placed at Hansberry College Prep, where he rose to chair the history department and was named as a distinguished teacher–Noble’s most prestigious teaching honor. In his tenure at Noble he served on the Noble Alumni Association, as manager of assessment and curriculum on the support team and at Mansueto High School, now as a senior seminar instructor. Outside of Noble, he gives his time to support Lurie Children’s Hospital and Hope For The Day.
While at Wabash, Francisco majored in psychology with a double minor in economics and religion. He was a member of Phi Gamma Delta, Sphinx Club, Unidos Por Sangre, and The Bachelor.
