President of Flight Operations & Safety at UPS Houston Mills ’85 has been appointed to the Federal Aviation Administration’s Management Advisory Council. The FAA’s 13-member Management Advisory Council is comprised of public and private aviation industry leaders given the opportunity to advise FAA senior management on policy, spending, long range planning, and regulatory matters.

Mills majored in English at Wabash and received an MBA from Webster University. He was a member of the basketball team, Lambda Chi Alpha, the Malcolm X Institute of Black Studies, and Sphinx Club. He and his wife, Sonia, have three children and live in Floyds Knobs, Indiana.
