Mark Miles ’76 was presented with the 2025 Raymond “Gaumey” Neal Award—along with Depauw alumnus Lance Swank—by Wabash College and DePauw University at Rivals, Our Tradition, an event celebrating the schools’ historic football rivalry during the week of the Monon Bell Classic. Named after the legendary football coach, the award is bestowed upon individuals who have made a lasting impact within the Wabash and DePauw communities.

Miles is president and CEO of Penske Entertainment Corp., which comprises the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, INDYCAR, and IMS Productions.
Before entering the world of motorsports, he served six years as president and CEO of the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership (CICP), a non-profit regional alliance of corporate CEOs and college presidents focused on long-term growth and economic development throughout Central Indiana. During this time, Miles led a successful effort to bring Super Bowl XLVI to Indianapolis for the first time. He was chairman of the board of the 2012 Super Bowl Host Committee, which included 18 staff members and thousands of volunteers, and served as an extension of the National Football Leage in the local community for centralized planning and execution of the event.
From August 1990 through 2005, Miles was CEO of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Tour, and in 1984, he was president of the organizing body for the 1987 Pan American Games in Indianapolis, which oversaw the $100 million event with 38,000 volunteers.
A three-year letterman on the Wabash tennis team and a champion of global athletics, Miles was inducted into the Wabash College Athletic Hall of Fame in 1999. Though a Little Giant through and through, he served on the DePauw University board of visitors, as his two sons attended the school.
