Craig Miller ‘97 reports that Ray Swisher ‘77 was given the Career Achievement Award from the American College of Healthcare Executives. Swisher has spent his career working to improve patient access and care. He was with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services in the Chicago area for more than 19 years.
While at Wabash, Swisher majored in psychology and business science. He was a member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity and played intramural sports. He later received his MBA in healthcare administration from the University of Pittsburgh. Swisher has recently retired. He volunteers with several organizations in his community.
