Jake Budler

Jake Budler ’18, along with his wife, Julia, are opening a bookstore in downtown Indianapolis on Mass Ave. Tomorrow Bookstore is set to open this spring.

“Tomorrow Bookstore will be downtown Indianapolis’ only independent, general interest new bookstore. This is a huge cultural gap in Indy, and we are excited to be helping to solve it,” Budler wrote on LinkedIn.

You can purchase books and find out more about the new store on their website at https://bookshop.org/shop/tomorrowbookstore. They also have an Instagram account under the name: tomorrowbookstore.

Budler said Julia will be running the store, and he will continue his work at Endeavor Midwest “supporting other entrepreneurs in the Midwest!”

He first joined the Endeavor team in 2016 as an intern in the Cape Town office, and he now serves in the Louisville office as an Entrepreneur Selection and Growth Associate. In between, Budler worked as an analyst and recruiter for Ascend Indiana, a workforce development non-profit in Indianapolis.

Budler is also on the Ambassador’s Council for Building Tomorrow, a non-profit that supports education in Uganda, and is a mentor for students at Indiana University’s School of Global and International Studies.

While at Wabash, Budler majored in economics and minored in political science. He was a member of the baseball and rugby teams as well as the Brew Society.
