Brad Timmons ’99, varsity and junior varsity running back coach for Center Grove High School, was part of the coaching staff that recently led the football team to win its third-straight state championship.

The Trojans defeated the previously undefeated Fort Wayne Carroll in the Class 6A title contest 35-9 on November 25 inside Lucas Oil Stadium.

Center Grove’s historic win was featured in a Daily Journal report.

This was Timmons’ 24th year coaching football – 22 under Moore at Center Grove High School. He came to Center Grove from Wabash College where he was a four-year member of the Little Giants football team.

Timmons is a member of the social studies department at Center Grove where he teaches AP Psychology, Psychology, and U.S. History. He also serves as an assistant on the boy’s track and field team specializing in short sprints and relays.

While at Wabash, Timmons majored in history and was a member of Delta Tau Delta.
