John Downey ’89 with F.C. Tucker West Central was named the March listing and sales leader.
He led the way with three listings for $676,800 in listing volume and helped nine buyers find their dream homes for $1,427,800 in sales volume, according to a report by the Journal Review newspaper.
Downey has worked in real estate as an appraiser in Montgomery, Tippecanoe, Fountain and Warren counties since 2006. He joined F.C. Tucker in 2016 specializing in residential listings and sales in West Central Indiana. In 2021, he closed on 66 transactions totaling just over $12 million in sales volume.
He is a two-time F.C. Tucker President’s Club member, the 2020 Montgomery County MIBOR Realtor of the Year and former chair of the local MIBOR division.
Downey is a life-long resident of Montgomery County. He received his bachelor’s degree from Wabash College in 1989 and an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan in 1999. While at Wabash, he majored in psychology and was an independent.
