Elliot Vice ’06 has recently joined Faegre Drinker in the Washington, D.C. office as the consulting firm’s new director.
Previously, Vice was the director of government affairs at the National Council of State Boards of Nursing.
In his role as government affairs director for NCSBN, Vice managed the legislative and regulatory outreach, public policy agenda promotion and development of strategic relationships, focusing on the nexus between state regulation of health care and its intersection with the federal government, according to a news release. He opened NCSBN’s first D.C. office in 2014 and built the government outreach program from the ground up.
He also served on the American Telemedicine Association’s Policy Council and the Steering Committee of the Nursing Community Coalition

In addition to his career work, Vice dedicates his time to the community as a member of the Board of Directors of the Indiana Society of Washington, D.C., and of the Wabash Club of the Greater District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia.
He earned his bachelor’s degree from Wabash College. While at Wabash, he majored in political science and minored in German. He was a member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity and the football and golf teams.
