Jonathan Byrd II ’97 was named President of the 76-year old Indianapolis Speedrome when it was purchased by a new owner last November. New ownership and the new president, who is overseeing day-to-day operations, are teaming up to revitalize the Speedrome, “believed to be the oldest figure 8 track in the country.” Click here for the news story.
Jonathan and his brother David ’98 are owners of the Jonathan Byrd’s Racing in the Indycar series. Last April, they were part of the panel discussion at “IndyCar & the Liberal Arts”, put on by The Bachelor.
