Early last month, Luke Wren ’14 was named the new Accreditation Coordinator for the Montgomery County Health Department, located in Crawfordsville. His first of many phases of accreditation projects is to lead a survey to aid the Montgomery County Health Department and Franciscan St. Elizabeth Health – Crawfordsville in evaluating what is needed in the county by asking the citizens to provide feedback via the survey. After Wabash, Luke completed an MS in Global Health, a health degree which focuses on areas that are resource poor, at the University of Notre Dame. Luke has previous experience to draw on for the accreditation project: As a student intern while at Wabash, he worked for the epidemiologist in charge on a previous community health needs assessment conducted for the local hospital in Crawfordsville.
