John Murrell ’12 is the composer of The Bipartisan, a new satirical musical to launch in NYC. The Bipartisan has a Facebook page: “Welcome to the official Facebook home of The Bipartisan; an original musical comedy with Book and Lyrics by Joseph Rasmus and Music by John Murrell of the band Robbing Johnny! Stay tuned to this page for information about this exciting new show as it is prepares for a New York Premier in August!”
John was a Spanish and Music double major at Wabash and a member of the Wamidan World Music Ensemble, focusing on ethnomusicology with Professor James Makubuya. John is also a music specialist at Harlem Children’s Zone (HCZ), a community organization providing social health and recreation services to children and adults in Central Harlem.
