Will Shortz, aka “NPR’s Puzzlemaster,” will be honored at the 2014 Living Legends Gala, a fundraising event for the Indiana Historical Society, on July 25 in Indianapolis.
Will is a native of Crawfordsville and, as we all know, he holds the world’s only college degree in the Study of Puzzles (Hint: a 12 letter word that begins with the letter “E”*). Will received an honorary doctorate of law from Wabash in May 2010, and he included a lively program on campus as part of the weekend that year.
