Yesterday, Dr. Eric Stark ’88 was honored at a surprise presentation at The Howard L. Schrott Center for the Arts at Butler University’s campus.  Click here to see how the award sneaks up on Eric, to his surprise.  The Sagamore is a personal tribute given to those who have provided a valued service to Indiana and its people, presented by the Governor of Indiana.

Eric is in his 12th season as Artistic Director of the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir and is Butler’s Director of Choral Activities.  After Wabash, Eric received his masters and doctoral degrees from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. He has also conducted at Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center and Strathmore Hall, as well as Bolivia, Argentina, Brazil, throughout Europe, Asia and the United States.
