Common Core is currently a hot topic in the field of educational standards. Jacob Pactor ’04 teaches English at Speedway High School plans to keep on teaching in his same style, however the Common Core debate ends up. He models his teaching on the traditional teaching at Wabash – a student can’t hide in Jacob’s class!
After Wabash, Jacob earned a master’s in English from Butler University, and he is part of the Teach Plus Teaching Fellows, sponsored by the local Mind Trust education reform group.
