Dr. John L. Mikesell ’64 publishes fiscal textbook’s ninth edition

Dr. John L. Mikesell ’64 just notified us that  “The ninth edition of Fiscal Administration, Analysis and Applications for the Public Sector has just rolled off the presses for use in classes this fall.  It has become the standard government finance textbook in graduate public administration programs and has been translated legally into Chinese, Kazak, and Russian and less legally into several other languages.  Autographing a bootleg translation of an earlier edition in Dushanbe, Tadjikistan was something of a personal highlight.”

John has been the Chancellor’s Professor at the Indiana University School of Public & Environmental Health since 2008.  After Wabash, he earned his M.A., University of Illinois, 1965 and Ph.D., University of Illinois, 1969.
