Alumnus Dan Crofts ’63 is professor of history at The College of New Jersey. His research focuses on the Old South, and the North-South Sectional Conflict that led to Civil War. Dan has written several posts for the online New York Times Opinionator.

As part of Wabash’s Civil War 150th Anniversary, the Lilly Library will have a display about Campbell later this month and will hold a Civil War Symposium on campus in September, including a celebration of the newly published book, 500 Strong: Wabash College Students in the Civil War (edited by Professor Emeritus of History Dr. James J. Barnes H’91 and Patience P. Barnes).
