Two Wabash alumni received the Pro Bono & Public Service Award at the 62nd Annual Meeting of the Seventh Circuit Bar Association Dinner on May 6 in Indianapolis.

Alan L. McLaughlin ’79 is Office Managing Shareholder at the Littler Mendelson law office in Indianapolis, focusing on employment-related disputes at the administrative, state and federal levels.  Alan earned his J.D. at Vanderbilt University Law School in 1982.

 

 

Mark D. Stuaan ’78 is a partner at the Indianapolis office of Barns & Thornburg LLP.  His practice is in litigation and white collar criminal defense in state and federal district courts.  Mark earned his J.D. from Southern Illinois University School of Law in 1981.

 

 

The Honorable Elena Kagan, Associate Justice United States Supreme Court, offered remarks and introduction of the annual dinner speaker.  The Honorable John G. Roberts, Jr., Chief Justice of the United States was the dinner speaker.  Both were present on the dais as the awards were presented.
