Dr. Keven Forney ’75 started as pre-med at Wabash, but changed direction after graduating as a Biology major.  He went on to earn several degrees (George Peabody College, now part of Vanderbilt University, MS in Biology; Illinois State University, Certificate of Advanced Study in Educational Administration and PhD).

Keven’s interest in public education lead to his career as high school science teacher, high school principal, and finally school district superintendent in Oakwood, IL, from which he will retire on June 30.  Click here to read about Keven’s insights on his career in education, the legacy he leaves in Oakwood, and the future of education in Illinois.

And, he is not totally “retired.”  Keven will work with the principal training program at Olivet Nazarene University after his days as school superintendent end.  Best wishes, Keven!
