Ken’s Indianapolis home will be featured on the June 2 Indiana Landmark’s fifth annual tour: Back to the Future: A Mid-Century Modern Home Tour of homes in two north side Indianapolis neighborhoods. All proceeds from the event support efforts to recognize and preserve fine examples from the mid-century period statewide.
Ken’s family home where he grew up in Crawfordsville was of contemporary design with Danish modern furniture, and his own home on the tour, built in 1954, contains original mid-century furniture by well-known designers. He moved to this home a few years ago after admiring it for many years, and has furnished it true-to-period with vintage pieces.
Ken was an Economics major at Wabash and has a J.D. from Indiana University. He is assistant dean of marketing at the Indiana University Maurer School of Law in Bloomington, and is a former Indiana Landmarks board member.
