On April 30, Sen. Randy Head ’91 (Indiana R-Logansport) was appointed Chairman of the Senate Committee on Local Government.

Randy has served in the Indiana State Senate since 2008, and received his J.D. from Indiana University after Wabash. He is in private law practice in Logansport and formerly served as deputy prosecutor for Cass County. He is Chairman of the Courts and Juvenile Justice Subcommittee, is a board member of the Cass County Community Foundation, and a member of the Indiana Fraternal Order of Police and the Indiana Farm Bureau. Randy replaces former Sen. Connie Lawson, now Secretary of State, as Chairman of the Committee on Local Government.
