Alpha Omega Newberry IV ’05 started using his first camera, a gift from his father when he was 18, for their trip to India.  The trip and camera opened a new world for Al.

Click here to link to an online interview and to read about his photography exhibit opening tonight at the Joysmith Gallery in the South Main Arts District of Memphis, TN.  The exhibit, “Exile,” focuses on Gangjeong Village in the Republic of Korea, a project which developed when Al went to South Korea to teach English.

Al was a Spanish and Philosophy major at Wabash.  Visit his web site at www.alphanewberry.com.  The photo below is the publicity photo for the exhibit.
