Dave Parry, Class of 1957, is a legend in college and professional football. You won’t find him in the record books for sacks, tackles, yard rushing, or touchdown passes. Those are all cool, for sure. But Dave’s impact was much, much bigger.
Where you will find his impact is in the way the game is played and the role officials play. Dave is one of those guys who wanted the officials to call it right but not impact the outcome of the game. Keep it fair – in every respect.
Respect. That’s why you see his initials on the caps of officials this season. Respect. For Dave Parry the official’s official and for Dave Parry the man.
