Two Wabash alumni are included on the Indiana Business Journal’s 2011 September list of “Who’s Who in Health Care and Benefits,” individuals who are influential in various ways on health care’s future.

Dr. J. Marc Overhage ’79, Chief Medical Informatics Officer at Siemens Healthcare.    Marc has influenced the development of electronic patient and physician medical records connecting hospitals, doctors, labs, and pharmacies.  He was the founder of the Indiana Health Information Exchange and the former director of informatics at the Regenstrief Institute, Inc. before joining Siemens.

Dr. Ben H. Park ’74, President, American Health Network.
While running his private medical practice, he developed an electronic medical records product for his own use, which he later marketed.  He then created American Health Network while working for Anthem, which was eventually purchased by a physicians group and is now the largest physician-owned medical group in Indiana.
