State Champ Coach – Gene Miiller '75

Gene Miiller, Class of 1975, is the proud coach of the Washington High School (Washington, Indiana) Hatchets.  This past weekend his team won the state championship for Class 3A.

Gene’s in his 34th year of coaching and has well over 500 wins on his resume. Gene’s coaching approach is much like John Wooden.

While Washington High School has managed to win the state title three times in the past six years, this one is the first one for Gene as head coach and it meant "everything".
