Vic Powell called me yesterday with a small request: "Could you please post something on your blog for me?"
Well, that just might be the easiest answer I have had to produce my entire time at Wabash!
Vic went on to say that he had received so many well wishes for his recent 90th birthday that he just couldn’t get to them all in a timely manner.
So, to all of you, Vic asks me to say a heart-felt thank you for all the birthday cards and e-mail greetings. He wanted to answer every one but when the count went over 70 cards plus e-mail greetings, he was overwhelmed. He wants you to know every one was appreciated. "What a wonderful community is Wabash College!"
To which I humbly add, what a wonderful guy is our Vic Powell!
