I had lunch with alumnus C. Davies Reed ’85 last week – he knows this great seafood place on north Meridian in Indianapolis. I was there to ask him to help get his FIJI pledge brothers back for their 25th reunion at the 2010 edition of the Big Bash.
By the way, during lunch Father Dave took a dinner napkin and wrote the names of the 19 members of his pledge class down…in alphabetical order! I was impressed.
As we talked he mentioned he serves as the Associate Pastor for a new Church in Carmel. We toured the complex after lunch – it’s a great design that his parish will really enjoy.
Father Dave talked of the important role Bill Placher played in his life leading up to his ordination…that’s a story to which many, many alumni can relate.
