The Grunge traveled to South Bend yesterday to attend the regular monthly luncheon of the St. Joe Valley Association of Wabash Men.  I have to tell you, I really enjoy attending – they are a great group.  I did have to canoe part of the way there – the Wabash River is way over its banks.

Attending the luncheon were (l to r): Roger Senkbeil ’68, Chad Chester ’93, John Mynsberge ’72, Peter Horvath ’92, Dick Barger ’55, Paul Tipps ’74, and Paul Smith ’52.

The restaurant of choice is Brunos on Old Dixie Way – another name for Highway 31/931 as it heads north through South Bend.  The "Wabash pizza" is an 8 inch sausage and mushroom, I’m told.

Afterwards, Peter Horvath gave me a tour of the new law school addition at Notre Dame.  It’s very nice and the new facilities represent a big improvement.  Hopefully we’ll see some Wallies headed that way for law school in the near future.
