A little fog out there this morning. Hard rain yesterday and Indiana humidity today – go figure. But the Chapel is always beautiful and draws alumni from all over back to its sanctuary.
Last Saturday, Ryan Reel ’99, whom I met this past year in beautiful Colorado, proposed to his longtime girlfriend Rebecca in the Chapel. One of our current students, Gary James ’10, had given them a tour of the new buildings on campus and Gary “magically” ended the tour at the Chapel. Ryan proposed…and Rebecca said …YES!
That Chapel must be special. A young man, living in a place like Colorado, decides the BEST place to pop the question is in the Pioneer Chapel at Wabash College – 1,100 miles away.
Special indeed.
