I am a big fan of the Pep Band. They bring so much to our football games. I think I am the only person in the crowd who knows the words to the Beach Boy songs they play!
I have to tell you, I miss the distinctive and reassuring sound of the brake drum – there just isn’t another instrument that quite does what a good brake drum can do. As with all things, the brake drum has been retired, temporarily, and we’ve added the …ahh…Big Trumpet.
