Tom Bennett, Wabash Class of 1960, will be inducted into the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame on March 22, 2006 in Indianapolis.

Tom played for Southport High School where he shared player of the year honors in 1956 with a pretty good round ball player named Oscar Robinson.

As a high school coach at three Arizona high schools, Tom built a record of 711-269.

Tom was head coach of esa Community College in Arizona for 19 seasons, compiling a record of 442-165. No losing seasons, 9 conference titles, 6 NJCAA Region 1 titles, and 1990 NJCAA Coach of the Year.

That’s 1153 lifetime victories as a coach!

Tom was inducted into the Wabash Athletics Hall of Fame in 1999.
