I’ve been updating the web pages and reworking the plans for the Big Bash of 2006 for most of the morning. In the process, I’ve poured over many photos from the Bash of 2004 and last year’s. The Big Bash is a lot of fun, let me tell you.
The 2006 Bash will be my class’s 35th reunion – just doesn’t seem possible. The long hair and madras pants have been replaced by no hair and relaxed fit, expando slacks. Our "rose colored glasses" have been replaced by bifocals. In 1971 nobody over 30 was to be trusted. In 2005 we’re worried Social Security can’t be trusted.
But it just doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things. What matters is our impact on this world. Come back to the Bash to tell your stories and rekindle those life-long Wabash friendships.
