Wabash ended the season with a record of 18-10. †Not bad…but it doesn’t tell the whole story.

There were big wins, they had great coaching, but as much as anything, the Little Giants had senior leadership…especially down the stretch.

Hats off to seniors Earl Rooks, Gary Simkus, and Andrew Zimmer. All three are leaders and talented basketball players. Even more? They are fine young men who will make a difference in our world in the not-too-distant future. Earl has a job in the financial world in Plano, Texas. Gary will be working for Cancer Treatment Centers of America in their executive development program. Andrew will try his luck with more basketball overseas. Regardless of where they end up, they’ll all be captains of some variety.

Makes you proud.
