Ben Frame, Wabash ’01 and Chief Technology Officer at Apparatus in Indianapolis, will deliver the keynote address on campus for the annual GLCA technology conference this week.  Wabash is this year’s host to a total of 30 IT staff from nine other GLCA institutions.  The conference theme, Walking the IT Tightrope: Balancing Information Security and Open Access, explores the tension — and occasional conflict — between the need to keep institutional information and resource safe, and the demand for anytime, anywhere access.

The Great Lakes College Association includes these schools:  Albion College, Allegeheny College, Antioch College, Denison University, DePauw University, Earlham College, Hope College, Kalamazoo College, Kenyon College, Oberlin College, Ohio Wesleyan University, Wabash College, and The College of Wooster.

Kelly Pfledderer ’96 is the founder, president and CEO of Apparatus.
