Nate Scola, standout linebacker for the Little Giants, graduated last Sunday. The football fan in me wonders the same thing that I do every year. Who will step up and take Nate’s place? More importantly, can they dominate the way Nate dominated?
At that point, I reassure myself that the team will be fine.
But this isn’t about football…it’s about Nate as scholar-athlete. You see, Nate graduated with Honors Sunday. He has a couple of extra Latin words on his sheepskin I still can’t find on mine. At a lot of schools, you’d NEVER find a middle linebacker with a GPA like that. NEVER. Might hurt their persona.
Nate’s the real deal. 100% linebacker – heck, look at the look!!! Good student. He’s taken Wabash seriously.
You can’t read the two pins he has on his graduation “uniform” so I’ll fill you in. The top one says: “Always Means ALWAYS!” The other? His Wabash alumnus pin.

I AM THE PROUD GRANDMOTHER TO NATE I ENJOY WATCHING THIS GUY FROM THE DAY HE WAS BORN HE HAS BECOME SUCH A MAN AND I HOPE HE GET THE CHANCE TO PLAY SOME MORE FOOTBALL AND THAT HIS DREAMS COME TRUE LOVE YOU NATE
I’m very proud of this kid he is awesome, I love going on face book and reading all the good thing’s about him. And not only is he a great football player he is very polite and really a nice person. Keep up the good work Nate, I’ve said it before and say it again… ALL THE WAY NATE ALL THE WAY.
