During my recent study abroad experience, I had the privilege to visit the charming city of Strasbourg, France. This trip proved to be an intellectually enriching experience, as I had the privilege of visiting two iconic landmarks – the European Parliament and the Strasbourg Cathedral.
My paternal grandfather was stationed in Germany as an Army mechanic during the Vietnam War. I never knew where, specifically, in Germany he was. I just remembered the stories he would tell to me as a child of his time there.
