While I look back on the time that I have spent in Dublin, I reflect on the amazing experiences that I have had while abroad. I have seen so many parts of this small, yet diverse city, and had the opportunity to get out of the city and see the beautiful countryside of Ireland.

One of my favorite weekends was my trip to Killarney National park in the Southwest corner of the country. This beautiful park is full of wildlife, and amazing sights. I was able to swim under a waterfall called O’Sullivan’s Cascade and hike up a mountain. I sat in the park and took in the views of Lough Leane and the surrounding mountains, and even got to visit a 15th century castle while I was there.

This experience was meaningful to me because I love hiking and being outdoors. Being able to experience these was something that I will remember and cherish for the rest of my life.

I am so grateful to the Rudolph family for helping to provide me with this amazing opportunity and I will never forget the summer that I spent in Ireland.
