My Summer 2026 internship was through REVelry, an academic internship program run by Josh Kline and Wabash. The program focused on having students build up and support companies across the U.S. by developing their SDR and Revenue Operations skills. This
opportunity I was given would not have been possible without the support of Josh Kline, Dr. Dunaway, and Matthew Brooks.

Throughout the summer, I was mapped to the Operations side of REVelry, working with the venture capital firm Ground Game Ventures. I was tasked with building out and automating a CRM for their day to day use. I was also given the opportunity to work with and provide support to several portfolio companies, ultimately generating over $370,000 in weighted pipeline. This was accomplished through personal development and connections to local VCs around the Midwest.

Over the summer, Josh would always ask, “What have you built?” the idea being that credentials don’t matter as much nowadays compared to what people have actually built. I took that question as a challenge and set out to build as much as possible. I built two fully functional CRMs through HubSpot: one for the fund, focused on deal flow and investment mapping, and another for a portfolio company, focused on sales and well researched outreach. Both CRMs are fully automated through Claude and Clay meaning that for them to run, all someone needs to do is open their computer for the day
