This summer, I had the incredible opportunity to intern at Stanton Chase, a leading executive search and leadership advisory firm in Washington, D.C. The experience provided me with invaluable insights into executive search, leadership development, and strategic talent acquisition while allowing me to explore a vibrant city filled with history and culture.

One of the highlights of my internship was working closely with consultants on projects across various industries, including nonprofit, biotech, and government contracting. I learned about the intricacies of the executive search process, from talent mapping and succession planning to executive assessment and onboarding. Seeing how critical it is to place the right leaders in the right roles to drive organizational success was eye-opening.

This internship deepened my understanding of how my strengths will align with wherever my future takes me. My ability to analyze complex situations, communicate effectively, and build relationships were all put to the test in real-world scenarios. I realized that my passion for creating meaningful change and working in a family oriented environment are something that I
want to pursue in my future career.

I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Wabash alumni Jeff Perkins, Peter Wright, Marc Nichols, and Rob Shook for their generosity and kindness this summer. Their contributions enriched my summer experience and played a crucial role in shaping my future career path. Living and working in D.C. was unforgettable. I loved exploring the city and connecting with incredible people. I am grateful for the opportunities this internship provided and look forward to applying the skills and knowledge I gained as I continue my academic and professional journey.
